Our background

TSO Education was founded by Jacqueline Tomkins and Peter Tomkins, combining finance leadership and school leadership experience to deliver practical, sector-grounded assurance tailored to live trust environments.

Our scrutiny practice grew from trust demand for assurance that is technically accurate and operationally realistic. We focus on what leadership teams can implement in live school environments, not abstract recommendations that stall after reporting.

Sector expertise

Our reviewers include former trust CFOs and senior education professionals who understand operational realities, committee expectations and year-end accountability pressures. Where a trust chooses a specialist focus, we use reviewers with specialist knowledge in that area.

Delivery model

We deliver remote, on-site and hybrid scrutiny nationwide with work directly supervised by named directors and backed by specialist associates with school or trust backgrounds where needed.
